Shri Laxmi Narsingh Divyadham

Inspired by the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh and Shri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Yadagirigutta in Telangana, Shri Laxmi Narsingh Divyadham was built by Shri Brij Gopal Innani, son of (late) Seth Shri Narsingh Lal Innani, followers of the Vaishnav religion.

The inauguration of the temple was done in the presence of Shri Kanchi Prativadi Bhayankar Singhasanadhishwar Anantashri Vibhushit Shrimadh Jagadguru Gadhi Swamiji Shri Shriniwasa Chariyaji Maharaj.

The presiding deity Shri Laxmi Narsingh is made of black granite and was brought from Tamilnadu. The temple also has separate shrines for other Gods made in black granite such as Shri Mahalaxmi, Shri Godamba, Shri Sudarshan Chakra Raj, Shri Natawar Narayan with Shri Bhudevi and Shri Devi, Shri Venkutnath along with Sri Laxmi, Shri Bhudevi and Shri Neela Devi, Shri Hanuman, Shri Garuda with Garuda Stamba, Shri Ramanuja Swami with several Alawar, Dvarpal Shri Jai and Shri Vijay, and Shri Vishwaksen Maharaj.

As per the constitution of the Divyadham, the puja system in the temple is performed under the guidelines of Shri Kanchi Prativadi Bhayankar Singhasanadhish Anantashri Swamiji Shri Shriniwasa Chariyaji Maharaj.

This Divyadham is a pride of Nepal whose architectural style is inspired by the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, and Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, Yadagirigutta in South India. With architectural styles crafted by the Tirumala craftsmen, the total area covered by the temple is five acres, with one acre of main temple area built in white marbles imported from Rajasthan.

The Divyadham was also visited by His late Majesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev and Her late Majesty Queen Aishwarya Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah along with other members of the Royal Family on December 29, 1999.

According to the President of Shri Laxmi Narsingh Divyadham, Shri Brij Gopal Innani, the total project cost for the temple is more than NPR One hundred crores. So far only 25% percent of the construction work of the temple is completed. The remaining construction is planned to commence soon after the full implementation of the new Constitution of Nepal 2015 ( 2072 B.S.).
